As a new patient, your first appointment is much longer. This allows us to gain a complete understanding of your injury and health history to date, and to discuss and agree a treatment plan.
As a new patient, we ask you to complete a new patient information form prior your appointment. This will be sent to you with your appointment conformation, and can be securely completed online.
If you are an existing patient, a standard/return appointment is recommended - regardless of whether you are seeking treatment for a new injury or condition, or are having follow-up treatment of an existing injury or condition.
Osteopathy patients can choose to book a longer 45 minute appointment if you have more extensive health issues, Contact us, if you are unsure if this might apply to you.
Patients can use the following schemes for part or whole payment of services:
You may be able to use your private health fund to claim a rebate on the cost of your treatment. For osteopathy and acupuncture, we can do this onsite via our HICAPs terminal. For Chinese herbal medicine, we will provide you with a detailed receipt so you can claim your rebate from your health fund.
Please remember that rebate benefits are determined by your health fund provider and not at our discretion. If your health fund declines a rebate, you are still liable for the full service fee.
Osteopathy patients, your GP can refer you to us for treatment of a chronic condition, as part of a CDM plan. This entitles you to receive up to 5 Medicare subsidised treatments per calendar year.
Your GP will decide what type of treatment, e.g. osteopathy, and how many treatments are covered by a CDM plan.
If you, as a pedestrian, cyclist, passenger or driver, have been injured in an accident involving a motorcycle, car, bus, tram or train, you may be able to claim treatment subsidised by TAC.
You must have an accepted TAC claim number prior to treatment.
Gold and white DVA card holders may be entitled to subsidised osteopathic treatment.
Usually, you will need a referral from your GP.
